To start ... but not at the begining

A stranger, is what I am. Not only to you, dear reader, but also at times a stranger to myself. Yes, this will chart the future, but it will also recall the past.

I am aquainted with blogs, first publishing my web pages, bold and brazen, when HTML was version one, and Compuserve rulled the home services. Web space was a generous one meg per account on AOL, and so I switched.

So why someone so experienced, so already public, now so anonymous? Being public can stunt the growth, strangle free speach before it even makes it past the throat.

"But why," you may well ask, do I start this foolhardy thing? Why do I start a blog where so many others are already blogging? What have I to offer the world? All I can say, dear reader, is to read on, as that is a question you must answer yourself.

Donna.

Welcome to the world-o-blogging. Do you remember the monochrome compuserve dialup screens before they had a proper User interface?... back in the day...

Thank you, kind sir, for your welcome.

I came on to Compuserve in the early days of the interface. Prior to that I enhanced my meagre phone bill by using bulletin boards, with a modem that was about as quick as a reversing snail.
