Meloncholy evening

Well, it has been another standard day at work, fighting fires on a departmental ship that is void of a captain or rudder; and the second mate has just pinned his colours firmly to the mast, causing mutterings amongst the deck hands. Certainly, the more things like this go on, the less I am enjoying my job and coming to the conclusion that this is what my career is turning in to ... a job.

Still, I return to my flat to finish off a bottle of red wine and enjoy reading through a few blogs that I haven't read before. Time to waste some time, methinks. Can't wait for tomorrows web activity logs to see what lunacy people are searching for this time. It's 17.1c tonight; nicely relaxing. Mind you, with this wine, I don't think I'm in a position to care!

Cheers!
